say hello to this guy

andrew william smith jr.

occupation
Deputy at the Police Department

history
On a chilly autumn night, the Smith's moved from the UK to Ashwick Grove, Connecticut.  Only a few months beforehand had Mrs. Smith given birth to her beautiful baby boy, Andrew Jr.  The birth had come painfully and slowly - despite the flow of her magic within her. (Which she secretly had hoped would ease the torture.) Poor Mr. Smith had no way of helping her, but to sooth her pain by gently kissing her eyelids, her nose and her lips as he let her hold his hand tightly.

They bought the first house they laid eyes on and never regretted the decision.  It brought them four houses down from the family who became their closest confidants - the Manning's - well, at least for the parents.

The move to Ashwick Grove had not been an easy one on Mrs. Smith.  She had a hard time shifting into this new place.  However, her little baby gave her courage - plus, the Smith's had a very loving relationship.  Yes, sure they had their fits (most caused by Mrs. Smith because she has always liked to give her husband the hardest time) but they raised their little boy in a very healthy environment.

Hazel eyes only roll and she walks over and sits down next to him. Harper feels herself sink into the couch by his side, her head resting on his shoulder. It is weird because she is angry, but it natural, too. They're not enemies, they never have been, because despite how angry Andrew made Harper sometimes or how angry she got him, they always came back.

Neither of them questioned it anymore.

After a few seconds of resting against him she sits back up, trying to regain her focus. She blinks a few times. Harper curses herself for being light weight, but it makes her problems all that easier to get rid of when it came down to it. She supposes he is right about the wedding thing. "We would actually have the best wedding ever in Ashwick though," She says matter of factly. There are things even she could not deny, and them having a big white wedding being a great success is one of them. Too bad it would never happen.

Harper is on the edge of possibly passing out but then her phone vibrates in her back pocket and she is stretching to get it. She pulls it out and looks down, opening a new text. Party on the other side of town. Her eyes flicker over at Andrew for a moment until her gaze catches his.

"Want to go?" She asks, leaning over and showing him. The thing is, most of Andrew and Harper's ridiculousness is behind closed doors. To most people in the town, they seem like the best of friends. Because maybe they are, but at the same time, that definitely wasn't something she would admit to either.
