say hello to this guy

andrew william smith jr.

occupation
Deputy at the Police Department

history
On a chilly autumn night, the Smith's moved from the UK to Ashwick Grove, Connecticut.  Only a few months beforehand had Mrs. Smith given birth to her beautiful baby boy, Andrew Jr.  The birth had come painfully and slowly - despite the flow of her magic within her. (Which she secretly had hoped would ease the torture.) Poor Mr. Smith had no way of helping her, but to sooth her pain by gently kissing her eyelids, her nose and her lips as he let her hold his hand tightly.

They bought the first house they laid eyes on and never regretted the decision.  It brought them four houses down from the family who became their closest confidants - the Manning's - well, at least for the parents.

The move to Ashwick Grove had not been an easy one on Mrs. Smith.  She had a hard time shifting into this new place.  However, her little baby gave her courage - plus, the Smith's had a very loving relationship.  Yes, sure they had their fits (most caused by Mrs. Smith because she has always liked to give her husband the hardest time) but they raised their little boy in a very healthy environment.

Hazel eyes only roll and she walks over and sits down next to him. Harper feels herself sink into the couch by his side, her head resting on his shoulder. It is weird because she is angry, but it natural, too. They're not enemies, they never have been, because despite how angry Andrew made Harper sometimes or how angry she got him, they always came back.

Neither of them questioned it anymore.

After a few seconds of resting against him she sits back up, trying to regain her focus. She blinks a few times. Harper curses herself for being light weight, but it makes her problems all that easier to get rid of when it came down to it. She supposes he is right about the wedding thing. "We would actually have the best wedding ever in Ashwick though," She says matter of factly. There are things even she could not deny, and them having a big white wedding being a great success is one of them. Too bad it would never happen.

Harper is on the edge of possibly passing out but then her phone vibrates in her back pocket and she is stretching to get it. She pulls it out and looks down, opening a new text. Party on the other side of town. Her eyes flicker over at Andrew for a moment until her gaze catches his.

"Want to go?" She asks, leaning over and showing him. The thing is, most of Andrew and Harper's ridiculousness is behind closed doors. To most people in the town, they seem like the best of friends. Because maybe they are, but at the same time, that definitely wasn't something she would admit to either.

Anita patted the arm that was looped over her. She spun out of his hold and stood before him, hands on her hips. "I'm new and quite harmless." This wasn't even much of a lie. "As deputy you can rest assured I won't be causing any trouble... unless you sneak up on me again." She flicked him a look that was more playful than serious, but with Anita it was hard to tell.

Typically when a male sat himself down in front of her when she was trying to tidy would have bothered Logan to no end. In those times, she would not have been subtle about her lack of want for company. Andrew was a different case. A welcome distraction even. Lo knew his intentions were innocent.

"You're day just got ten times better then," she smiled easily at her own joke. Of course, the blonde truly believed she trumped a simple cup of iced coffee. In the background of it all, she felt the warmth o their magic lightly pressing together. It was a knowing that hummed just beneath the surface like the beating of a heart behind a cage of bones. Sometimes it was louder and more prevalent than others, but one always sensed it.

"What are you up to today?" She questioned, sipping her own drink. Her eyes moved over his familiar features waiting to read them as he replied to be basic inquiry.

((They're definitely going to be different because there are a lot of connections that they had before that they no longer do. Isaac, Cale, Spence, Tori, etc.))

((Yes! I love that! Do that! Hahaha! Then we can say the Hamilton girls and include your girl!!! And I think her and Andrew would def be friends. I love it. I think people naturally want to watch over the Hamiltons and genuinely wish them the best... Which is nice... Even if they don't think they need it.))

The feel of Andrew's stare barely registered to Lo as she sipped her iced tea. The witch was used to eyes on her. Most folk in Ashwick were use to being watched. It was part of small town living. People wanted to know your business. Of course, being a pretty girl made her more used to he gentle prickle at the back o her neck telling her there were eyes on her when she wasn't looking.

Looking up, her blue gaze met his as he spoke. She smiled a little and turned to look out at the sunny street beyond.

"I have a feeling you're going to offer yourself a distraction," Lo said with a knowing grin. "I also have a feeling... I won't be saying no," she told him with a playful tone, slightly flirtatious.

She knew that whatever they did, it would be innocent. Andrew and her seemed to have an easy rhythm. They were somewhat playful and flirtatious, but he never seemed interested enough to take it the step further and she didn't bother caring. Lo wasn't about to stepmom Harper's toes anyways. In her opinion, there was something between them, whether they admitted it or not.

"Such a buzzkill Officer Andy." She grinned to herself, as if she hadn't just been found in a forest in the middle of the night and high off her ass. When he steadies her, she can't help but hold on to his arm as they head towards his car. Glancing up at him, she notices that he's checking her out although she's sure it is more appalled with her clothing choice instead of taking in how sexy she looked. Typical Andy. "Come on, let's hear the lecture."

"Was it a fun party?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. Brianna didn't even remember half of the party. Just that some douchebag was eyeing her up and she wanted to get away.

"Can't you just take me to your house?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
